Spotlight on Industrial Arts

We’re blessed to have Industrial Arts, an elective where students can learn to get some hands-on experience with tools. This past week, Mr. Ruth’s class began their first project. Mr. Ruth first instructed them on how to cut the kerf in the wood and the students then had the opportunity to try it out. We love watching the students work with their hands to create something of their own!

Rusty Remains at Westland

While the annual battle for Rusty took place at Lutheran Northwest this year, the stands were filled with Lutheran Westland students cheering their team to victory! This game has been a tradition since 1991, and is something that the Warrior family looks forward to every year. The Warriors have defeated the Crusaders the past four years, which means that Rusty has been able to remain at his home in Westland during that time.

Freshmen and Transfers Orientation

We were so excited to have our Freshmen and Transfer students join us for their orientation where they got a preview of what their life as a Warrior would be like! Students walked through their schedule and met their new teachers and classmates. Afterward, they mingled, played games, and enjoyed snow cones at a Luau!
